The Class

First Half: The LEGWORK workout: 35 minute, non aerobic, strength building, toning and sculpting workout designed specifically for sexy high heel wearing, high heel fitness and high heel health. LEGWORK targets, strengthens and tones the core (stomach & back muscles), legs: thighs, calves, ankles and feet. Bring your sexiest workout outfit!

Second Half: 35 minute high heel walking, posture and poise workshop. Personal high heel training and instruction to increase comfort, confidence, grace and sexiness in heels. Bring your own heels!

Healthy Heels Stretch Tip

As with any exercise it's important to facilitate proper range of motion and balance in the musculature around the joints. Always stretch in order to avoid injuries and imbalances and use the opposing muscles for well rounded strength.

When wearing heels, the toes and ball of the feet are on the ground and the heels are elevated 3" to sometimes 5". Over time, this tightens and overworks the calf muscles and shortens the Achilles tendon. After a long day of walking in heels, this imbalance creates discomfort, aches and often pain. For instant relief and balancing of musculature do the following stretch before wearing heels, during heel wear and after.

Calf & Achilles Stretch for High Heel Health
In bare feet, place the ball of the foot against a wall and leave your heel in contact with the floor while you lean forward into the wall. This will stretch the muscles of your calf. Hold the stretch for 15 to 30 seconds then repeat with the other leg. Stretch before wearing heels, during heel wear and after.
